At our monthly SU team meeting yesterday, we made this card using the Crayon Resist technique. The stamp set is the brand new Awash with Flowers Two-Step-Stampin' set. It is available FREE to workshop hostesses this month only with a $350 workshop order. This set is a sneak peek from the 2010-11 Idea Book and Catalog (IBC) and will not be available again until the release of the new catalog in July.
There are four other sets in the current IBC available at 20% off this month during SU's Two Step into Spring promotion. They are Greenhouse Garden (pg 94), Fifth Avenue Floral (pg 98), Flower Fancy (pg 101), and Trendy Trees (pg 112).
If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and would like to book a workshop or purchase any of these products, please consider letting me be your demonstrator! Just click here to order or send me an email to book a workshop, providing you live close enough for me to drive to your home! : )

I often hear stampers say that masculine cards are difficult for them to make. Here's an easy one. This image from the retired Wildlife Reserve set was stamped on watercolor paper, colored with my Watercolor Wonder Crayons, and mounted on Mellow Moss card stock. I used the flannel plaid background stamps on the blue card base and red panel, and added the vellum card stock panel with 3 silver brads.
Labels:

Another challenge from Sketchy Thursdays. I've been working on family pet pages but will be working on human photos next.

I love the sketch challenges on Sketchy Thursdays. I don't always get them done in time to link to their web site, but will eventually get them into my albums. Here's one from several weeks ago:
And here's my take on it:
