I love the new two step bird punch! Here's a quick card using the current In Colors card stock, coordinating ribbon, and Razzleberry Lemonade DSP. The green paper used to punch the branch is from Tall Tales DSP. I also used the new Scalloped Trim border punch that is in the SAB catalog and the Modern Label punch for the sentiment. (I'm not sure why the paper looks crooked in this photo because it isn't on the card.)

I'm having such a good time with the scrapbook sketches on Sketchy Thursdays! Here's another one I did using some photos I took yesterday. I also took tons of photos of our 3 dogs (American Eskimos) playing in the snow an those will go into my album along with this page.
Another take on a scrapbook sketch from Sketchy Thursday. After examining the completed page there are a few things I wish I'd done differently but it will do. These photos are of my friend's cat celebrating his second birthday with a couple of catnip mice and bag full of balls.

My friend Ellen over at Blinkin', Thinkin', & Inkin' has been posting some very pretty scrapbook pages that she created from sketch challenges and has challenged her readers to try it. So I did. As Ellen said, I would have never come up with this layout on my own. If you want to try scrapping from sketches, Sketchy Thursday has some really cool ones.

This layout is the last of my Christmas 2009 pages and the last one in that album. I like the first and last pages of my albums to be special or unique and I thought these photos fit the bill!

One last Valentine for this year. All the SU items used on this card are now retired since I made this card for a stamp club challenge a year or so ago. The stamp set is Happy Heart Day stamped on watercolor paper with brown Staz-On ink. Watercolor Wonder crayons were used to color the images. The gold glitter used to accent the flower and the gold brad were both from my stash of scrapbooking supplies. The card base is Ruby Red card stock, the dotted paper is from the Cutie Pie DSP, and the ribbon is River Rock from a previous In Color collection.

A cone made from the Sending Love DSP will hold sweet treats or other goodies for your Valentine. Just be sure to roll it so that nothing falls out the pointy end and use a strong glue or Sticky Strip to hold it together. This one has a few of SU's red and pink corduroy brads as accents.

Waterfall cards are so easy and so much fun to make. Here's one for Valentine's Day. Gently pull the tab at the bottom and all the images unfold before your eyes! On this card, each image is a bit different. One is very glittery, another has metallic ink accents. This card features the Love You Much stamp set and Round Tab punch.
