A card for a friend who bought a new home.  The design is a variation of several I've seen online.

Another child's birthday card.  Playful Pals stamp set and Framelits, Remembering Your Birthday stamp set, Tip Top Taupe and Cucumber Crush card stock, Cucumber Crush and Basic Black Classic ink, fringe scissors.

A wintery card made using the Crayon Resist technique.  This is one of three that we will make in stamp club this month.  I'll use mine as a thank you card with a hand written note inside.

It is beginning to look and feel like Fall where I live so Halloween will be here before we know it.  I saw a treat topper made by Angie Juda which inspired this Frankenstein card.

Working on Christmas cards today between loads of laundry.  This is the first time I've ever made a spinner card and it was fun!  The design was CASEd from Michelle Rey on SCS.  Stamp set is Snow Much Fun, card stock is Island Indigo, Pool Party, and Whisper White.  Images were colored with Stampin Write markers.  I LOVE Dazzling Diamonds glitter but waited until after scanning the card to add it along the snow bank.  We will make this one in stamp club next month!

Here's a card we will be making in stamp club this Saturday.  It was made using the emboss resist technique, Lovely as a Tree stamp set, a script background stamp, Whisper White, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, and Old Olive card stock, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, and Old Olive Classic ink, leaves cut with a Sizzix die in my Big Shot, and linen thread.  I added a little Log Cabin and Gold Glow Smooch Spritz to the leaves and like how it makes them look like real fall leaves.  This could be a masculine birthday card, a get well or thinking of you card so club members will be able to choose from a variety of stamps for the inside sentiment.

Our theme this month is Halloween and Fall Happenings.  I used Haunted Forest, one of the new a la carte stamps in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini catalog.  It was stamped in black StazOn ink on glossy white paper with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, and Poppy Parade Classic inks sponged on.  The moon was created by placing a circle punched from a Post It note over the owl before sponging on the colors.  Frightful Sight DSP was layered onto the Basic Black card stock base and some retired black and white SU ribbon complete the card.

I'd seen a few telescoping cards online and decided to give it a try.  Since it's made with circles, a snowman came to mind.  Basic Gray Classic ink was sponged around the edge of the circles.  The snowflake was cut from the Northern Frost Sizzlit, the carrot was cut free hand, and the rest was created with punches.  A rhinestone was added to the center of the snowflake.

This card was inspired by one posted to SCS by Cards4Ever and uses the Autumn Days stamp set.  The image was stamped in Early Espresso ink on Shimmery White card stock and sponged with So Saffron, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, and Cajun Craze Classic inks.  I haven't use Shimmery White much but really like the effect it gives on this card.  The card base is Daffodil Delight with an Early Espresso border on the stamped image.  The bottom half of the card front was embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder.

Our theme this month is ABC -- Anything But a Card.  My project is a Card Keeper Portfolio made from a template by Stampin' Up!  These are fun to make and great for giving a set of assorted hand made cards as a gift.  The first photo shows the keeper closed by tying the Very Vanilla ribbon into a bow.  The design on the front was case'd from a card posted on SCS by Janine Tinklenberg.

This scrapbook page is about my role models. Two women I admire and want to be like when I get older. The journaling was computer generated on a piece of card stock and punched with the spiral border punch. The patterned paper is from a pad I've had for a while. The flower was cut with a flower layers Sizzix die, crumpled and then the edges were sponged with ink. Rose Pink glitter was glued to the large brad in the center.

This was a quick and easy card using the a la carte stamp Sail Away from the Summer mini catalog. I used my Big Shot and Top Note die to cut that shape from Whisper White card stock. Then I stamped the sailboat image and sponged around the edge of the top note with Early Espresso Classic ink. Next I cut an oval from a scrap of card stock in my Big Shot and used the negative piece to sponge Marina Mist Classic ink over the sailboat. The top note piece was glued to a piece of Newsprint DSP which was glued to a Marina Mist card stock base. Quick and easy.

I used to have a customer that would say at the beginning of every workshop "will we be embossing today?" Well, just wait until she sees the brand new brightly colored embossing powders in the new Summer mini catalog! The image on the card below was stamped with VersaMark then Wild Wasabi ep was sprinkled on the stem and leaves and a mixture of Iridescent Ice and Melon Mambo ep was sprinkled on the flower. Card stock used was Textured Wild Wasabi, Melon Mambo, and Whisper White. Wild Wasabi Classic ink was sponged on the Presto Pattern DSP to create the background layer. This card was made using the Presto Patterns DSP, Early Esspresso, Tangerine Tango, and Naturals White card stock, Nature Walk and Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets, Sizzlit tag die, and linen thread.

This masculine card was CASEd from one by Ann Schach that I saw on SCS. The image is from In Wilderness and cardstock used is Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, and Garden Green. One layer of the Soft Suede was embossed with a bit of Early Espresso ink applied to the folder before running it through the Big Shot. The edges of the card stock were distressed and sponged with Early Espresso ink. I didn't have a green button so made one using Garden Green card stock and the Sweet Buttons Embosslit in the Spring Occasions mini catalog. The stitching was done with brown embroidery floss.

In addition to stamping and scrapbooking I enjoy spending time with our dogs. We have three American Eskimos so when I saw this stamp, I had to have it. The sky was sponged with Night of Navy and Dazzling Diamonds glitter was used on the snow. The card base is Handsome Hunter (retired) and the trees are from Lovely as a Tree.

This is one of my favorite Halloween cards made with the retired set, Hauntingly Halloween. It is not my original design but I cannot remember whose work I copied so I can give proper credit. If you know, or if it is yours, please let me know. Begin by punching a circle for the moon out of scrap card stock. Lay the scrap of card stock with the hole from your punch on a piece of white card stock. Sponge So Saffron ink inside to create the moon. When the ink is dry, use a temporary adhesive, such as Dotto, to stick the punched circle over the sponged moon. Sponge on ink on for the sky beginning near the moon and working toward the edge of the paper. I used Baja Breeze, Night of Navy, and a tiny bit of Basic Black. Using Basic Black and Whisper White ink, stamp the trees from Lovely as a Tree set along the bottom of the paper. Remove the circle, stamp and color the image. A white gel pen was used for coloring the stars and to make the streaks. Mat on So Saffron card stock and an Elegant Eggplant card base.

This fall card was CASEd from ones posted by Cathy Rose and ladybug_stamper on SCS. Cardstock used was Early Espresso and Really Rust DSP from Pattern Pack III. The pheasant was stamped in Early Espresso and the sun in More Mustard ink onto a Very Vanilla oval cut with the Big Shot and the Scalloped Oval Frame die. The sponging was done with Cajun Craze, More Mustard, and Old Olive inks. The wheat was stamped in More Mustard.

The sentiment from In a Word was stamped on the upper right corner with Crumb Cake classic ink and matted on Crumb Cake and Whisper White card stock. Polka dots were embossed on a 1/2 inch strip of Crumb Cake card stock then adhered to the piece of Marina Mist card stock and attached to the Whisper White card base. The design was CASEd from one posted to SCS by Inkerzaway. The next stop is the blog of Tina Taves where she has a spooky project featuring Build a Bears!

I've been showing you new stamps and colors from SU recently but this card has only one new item on it. Almost everything else is retired. The image from Balmy Breezes is stamped on Glossy White card stock with Timber Brown StazOn ink. Sponge on Sahara Sand, Cool Caribbean, Cameo Coral and Marigold Morning inks to create the sand, sea, and sky. Use a sponge dauber and Marigold Morning ink to create the setting sun. Use Garden Green and Soft Suede markers to color the tree. Mat on a square of Soft Suede card stock. Punch 4 photo corners from Soft Suede card stock and adhere to the image. Use Crumb Cake ink to stamp the background on Sahara Sand card stock and adhere to it Soft Suede polka dot gross grain ribbon with the solid side of the ribbon showing. Wrap linen thread around the ribbon, thread through a button and tie a knot. Adhere to the Soft Suede card base and adhere matted image. Inspired by several cards seen on SCS.
