Welcome to the 14th stop on the Hopping Just for the Fun of It October blog hop!  If you are hopping along in order you arrived here from Raissa's blog.  If not, and you want to see all of the fun projects we have for you this month, just click on the link at the end of each post.  You will also find a list of all the blogs in our hop here on our home blog.
Our theme this month is Halloween and Fall Happenings.  I used Haunted Forest, one of the new a la carte stamps in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini catalog.  It was stamped in black StazOn ink on glossy white paper with Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, and Poppy Parade Classic inks sponged on.  The moon was created by placing a circle punched from a Post It note over the owl before sponging on the colors.  Frightful Sight DSP was layered onto the Basic Black card stock base and some retired black and white SU ribbon complete the card.
Today is also the 6th annual World Card Making Day!  I hope you enjoy this expression of your creativity and the connection with other card makers and the recipients of your cards that is the heart of card making.  The next stop along our hop is the blog of Holly and The DogEnjoy!

I have not really been drawn to that stamp until I see it with this technique! The sponging makes all the difference. Thank you!

Very nice! I've got this set on order, and needed some more ideas on how to use it. TFS!
